空港へ着き、ワイキキへ向かう途中にある「アロハタワー」へ寄りました。
昔オアフで一番栄えてた場所ですが、今は公園とレストラン街です。
そして、その頃オアフで一番の高さだったビルが、このアロハタワーでした。
残念ながら、現在修復中でタワーに登る事が出来ませんでしたが
此処への目的は食事をする目的だったので、次回行った時に登ってみます。
タワー横に在る、日本食バイキング「マキノ」、ハワイで最初の食事です。
この店は大きく、長～いカウンターがあり、寿司・おでん・天麩羅・等等が並び
じぇ～んぶ・・・食べ放題なのだ。
あまりの種類の多さで、カウンターを半分も進まないうちに腹一杯です。
出迎えに来てくれた友人が、新聞折込に付いてたクーポンを持ってたので
支払いが半額で済み、出だしからラッキー・チャチャチャざんす。
因みにオーナーのオバちゃんは、日本語が話せるが
従業員は、イングリッシュ・オンリーです。
この店で驚くのは、蟹やエビの高級食材？の食べ放題より、
ナンと、店内の飾りなのです。
壁からはタコの足が飛び出てたり、
天井からは凄い数の魚達が、吊り下がってるのです。
だいぶ安かったので、チョットだけチップを弾んでおきました。
タワーの先は海で、その先には地元の人も殆んど行かない
サンドアイランド（砂島）という島が見えてます。
食後の腹ごなしに、探索することにしました。
この島の事は、また後日記載する事にします。
ア～XX・参ったな、未だジェットラグ（時差ボケ）が治らないのだ。
今朝も3時に起床してしまった・・・昼間が辛い・・・ゾッ！。

This site appears to get a large ammount of visitors. How do you promote it? It gives a nice unique spin on things. I guess having something authentic or substantial to give info on is the most important factor.
